“Many times in life we want to live the dream but believe that we are living the nightmare. Well, the nightmare is only available to those who are sleep. There are areas in your life that you must awaken and that you must tap into that are asleep. When you awaken these areas you will then be able to live your dream and walk in the greatness that God has for you.” – Dr. Rhadi Ferguson
Greetings:
This weekend was absolutely awesome.
Last week it was my son’s birthday as well as my birthday. And on Sunday it was my wife’s birthday and then this weekend, last night, it was Wrestlemania.
I love this time of year all the time because of our birthdays and it’s Wrestlemania time. My father took me to Wrestlemania 1 and we watched it on closed circuit feed at the James L. Knight center in Miami, FL. I remember it like it was yesterday. Every year I try to watch Wrestlemania with my son Rufus but we were not able to watch it together this year because this year it fell on the same time as my wife’s birthday and she had her birthday party and then it was time for Rufus and Rhadi to do their homework and get ready for school. But we will chip away at the show this week and watch it in parts. It won’t be the same but we’ll get it done. Kinda like the answer to the question, “How do you eat an elephant?” The answer is, “one piece at a time.” And that’s what we’ll do. We’ll get through the 5 hour Wrestlemania 34 show one piece at a time 🙂
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend as well.

Ronda Rousey
==============
Just a few short years ago Ronda was in a very different situation than she is now. Shel was in a little bit of a financial and emotional slump. But what she did is what she always does from since I’ve known her and that’s fight. She fought against her situation and circumstances and didn’t accept her situation as her truth. Watching Ronda wrestle during Wrestlemania last night was awesome. It put a huge smile on my face. Knowing her and Kurt Angle and watching them wrestle was pretty awesome.
Many times in life we want to live the dream but believe that we are living the nightmare. Well, the nightmare is only available to those who are sleep. There are areas in your life that you must awaken and that you must tap into that are asleep. When you awaken these areas you will then be able to live your dream and walk in the greatness that God has for you. Last night I watched Ronda Rousey and was inspired to do more, be more, give more and get more. And I hope that it did the same for many of you.

Armbars
=============
Ronda pulled off a sweet armbar to win her match with Kurt Angle in Wrestlemania 34. Not only did she finish with an armbar but she demonstrated various armbar positions and finishes during the match that can be used as teaching tools for Judo and BJJ instructors all around the world. Today I want to show an armbar that was not on the show last night but one that is VERY effective in the world of Judo and Brazilian Jiujitsu.
Enjoy the video.
