Greetings:
I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I did because…… I got to do what I love doing and that’s teaching and coaching. This weekend I had my VIP Mastermind Event Judo Strategy 3.0: Innovative Strategies & Effective Tactics To Produce And Influence Specific Outcomes.
The event went well and the 2 persons in attendance walked away with a plethora of information. The seminar was capped at 5 people only to provide an intimate experience and environment. (The next seminar like this is next year in March 2018).

I was able to record a piece of the seminar which I wanted to share with you. I do believe that you will enjoy it. I provided you with the PDF and the mp3.

Training With Rufus
This Morning
================
Monday mornings are the time when my son and I train together, but this morning his training program was very different than what he thought is was going to be. He set his alarm for 6:15 as requested. I told him that we were leaving at 6:30. I got up at 6:05 to make my coffee and get ready to leave.
As I was preparing, I heard his alarm going off. It was ringing and ringing. He did not get up. He slept through it. Before walking out of the door I went in his room and said, “Rufus, I’m heading to the gym, it’s 6:30. Have a great day.”
Rufus jumped up and I walked out and was in my car. I saw the garage door opening as I drove off.
The lesson that we will talk about when I see him later on today is…. “Be Ye Also Ready.“
It’s important to teach young folks the lessons of being prompt, being ready and being morally and ethically opportunistic. Understanding that each day is a gift and an opportunity to improve and get better is something that Rufus needs to learn. And as much as I wanted to wake him up early and get him ready, the Dad side of me said, “No, he needs to learn the lesson of responsibility and taking ownership of his life and his schedule.” And while it is a tough lesson you have to teach it. And the day is going to come when he loses on the mat and on the way home when we make that stop for pizza or a meal, I will have to pull up a chair and sit by him at the table and say, “Son, you did awesome today. And you could have won that match. But you lost it on the 4th of December at 6:15am. And when you don’t get up then, it’s hard to get up on the top of the medal stand later.“
And I know I will have this talk. And it will be one of the most loving in the world. And it will be hard to give, but it must be issued because it is a HUGE lesson for him to learn which incurs a small price tag. Which is much better than huge lessons that are linked to huge price tags.

The Benefits Of
Training
=============
Whether you believe it or not, when you are determine to get up and workout in the morning the following 7 things happen:
- You immediately inject discipline inside of your life
- You order your evening better because you know you have to get up earlier
- You come home from work early and don’t stay late because you know that your time at home is at a premium
- You push hard to get the kids homework done and get everybody showered and to bed earlier
- Your sex life improves, one because…. hell, you are working out and two, because you know if you don’t get it in early, it’s not going to happen. So you either agree to get it in or sleep. But nobody’s expectations are out of order.
- Your nutritional, reading and viewing diets tighten up because your exercise diet tightens up
- You feel better and look better
